Monroe CPU Mining Tutorial

Step 1: Download XMrig

You can download the XMrig mining software from its official website: https://xmrig.com/. Choose the version that is compatible with your operating system.

Step 2: Configure XMrig After downloading XMrig, open the "config.json" file with a text editor such as Notepad. You will need to make several changes to this file to configure XMrig for mining Monroe Coin:

  • Under the "pools" section, add a new pool and specify the URL and port number for the mining pool you wish to use. For example:

"pool": [ { "url": "stratum+tcp://xmr.pool.com:3333", "user": "yourwalletaddress.workername", "pass": "x" } ],

Make sure to replace "yourwalletaddress" with your actual wallet address and "workername" with any name you choose.

  • Under the "cpu" section, you can adjust the number of CPU threads to use for mining. The default value is the maximum number of threads available on your system. You can also adjust the "priority" setting to control how much of your CPU resources XMrig will use.

  • Save the config.json file and close the text editor.

Step 3: Start Mining Open a terminal or command prompt window and navigate to the directory where you saved XMrig. Type the following command to start mining:

./xmrig

XMrig will begin connecting to the mining pool you specified in the config file and start mining Monroe Coin using your CPU.

That's it! You are now mining Monroe Coin using XMrig. Be sure to monitor your mining progress regularly and adjust your settings as needed to optimize your mining performance.
